H&M
The H&M group is working on achieving their goal that by 2030, all the group’s brands will only use recycled or sustainably sourced materials in their collections. To achieve this goal H&M approached Hyper Island with the brief: “How can H&M own the meaning of sustainability and attract the Generation Z audience?”
We developed the idea that H&M collects and reinvents “otherwise-thrown-away-resources" by offering free pre-paid postal packages. Then reinventing the collected material into homeware for H&M Home. A unique initiative and genuine effort to operate more sustainably and adding a new layer of circularity to attract Generation Z.
Among 27 other presentations, we were one of three winners. We were invited to H&M for a second pitch.
